1629891 Ontario Inc., operating as Kaleidoscoppe (“Kaleidoscoppe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (kaleidoscoppe.com) and in the course of providing our licensed child care, before/after school, camp, and children’s entertainment services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to visitors to our website, parents and guardians who inquire about or enroll a child in our programs, and the children enrolled in our care.

- Emergency contact information and names of individuals authorized for pickup
- Health information relevant to your child’s care, including allergies, medical conditions, and immunization records, as required under Ontario’s Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and municipal public health requirements
- CWELCC subsidy application details, where applicable, as required for reporting to the County of Simcoe
- Payment information processed through Square. We do not store your full payment card number on our own systems.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and process enrollment or waitlist requests
- Provide licensed child care, before/after school care, camp, and entertainment services
- Communicate with you about your child’s care, program updates, and availability (including by email or SMS)
- Send marketing communications about camps, programs, and promotions, where you have not opted out
- Process payments and manage billing
- Maintain the records our provincial and municipal licensing require
- Measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising, including Google Ads campaigns
- Respond to the health, safety, and medical needs of children in our care
3. Cookies and Online Advertising
We use Google Ads and Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website, including which pages lead to an inquiry or phone call. These tools may place cookies on your device and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com. Opting out may affect some features of our site but will not prevent you from contacting us or enrolling your child.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate, including Mailchimp (email communications) and Square (payment processing)
- Google, for website analytics and advertising measurement
- Regulatory and licensing bodies, including the Ontario Ministry of Education and the County of Simcoe, as required for our licence and CWELCC participation
- Public health authorities or child protection services, where required by law
- Any party, where required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or to protect the safety of a child in our care
5. How Long We Keep Information
We retain enrollment, health, and attendance records for the period required under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and its regulations. General inquiry and marketing information is kept until you ask us to remove it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
6. Your Rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you or your child, and request a copy
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time, using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly
Please note that some information — particularly health and safety records required for licensed child care — must be retained regardless of a request to withdraw consent, for as long as your child is enrolled and as required by law.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our programs are for children, but personal information is provided to us by a parent or guardian, not collected directly from children through our website. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children online without parental involvement.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information we hold. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
